How to Get to Panzos
Panzós is best reached by road from Guatemala City (GUA) or from regional centres like Cobán; there are no scheduled flights and no passenger rail service. Buses and colectivos are the normal options for visitors.
La Aurora International Airport (GUA): Panzós is reached primarily by road from Guatemala City’s La Aurora (GUA). Expect several hours on rural highways depending on route and road conditions; there is no commercial airport in Panzós.
(No local scheduled air service): Panzós does not have scheduled flights; travellers use ground transport from Guatemala City or regional towns.
Train: Guatemala does not operate a passenger rail service suitable for reaching Panzós.
