Pamplemousses (north of Port Louis) is easiest reached from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Airport (MRU) by taxi or by taking a bus via Port Louis and changing for a local service. Public buses are the cheapest option; taxis are quicker.

To Pamplemousses (north of Port Louis) you can take a taxi from MRU to Pamplemousses; the drive takes about 30-45 minutes and fares are typically 1,200-1,800 MUR depending on traffic and time of day. Alternatively, take a bus into Port Louis and change for a local bus to Pamplemousses - the combined journey is usually around 60-90 minutes total.
Train: Mauritius’ Metro Express currently serves the Port Louis → Rose Hill → Curepipe corridor and does not reach Pamplemousses.
