Osiou Gregoriou Monastery is an active Eastern Orthodox monastery on the Mount Athos peninsula in Greece and forms part of the autonomous monastic republic. It functions as a religious community with liturgical life, monastic cells, and monastic property.

The monastery maintains traditional Orthodox monastic practices and houses communal and private chapels, work spaces, and guest facilities for male pilgrims according to Athonite regulations. Visitors come for spiritual retreats, to attend services, and to view the monastery’s icons and ecclesiastical furnishings.

Historically the monastery belongs to the network of medieval monastic foundations on Mount Athos and has been integrated into the peninsula’s monastic organization for centuries. Its buildings and collections reflect the long-standing religious traditions of Athos.

Osiou Gregoriou is located on the eastern side of the Mount Athos peninsula within the Monastic community of Mount Athos; access requires the standard Athos permit procedures and is limited to men.

Mount Athos is reached by boat from Ouranoupoli (the usual embarkation point on the Athos peninsula). Visitors must have a diamonitirion (entry permit) arranged in advance through the Pilgrims’ Bureau in Thessaloniki or the relevant Greek ecclesiastical offices. From Ouranoupoli, ferries sail to Athos harbors where local skiffs or short walks reach the monastery; schedules are seasonal and weather-dependent.

• Only men are allowed to visit Mount Athos; female visitors will be turned away at the peninsula's border.
• Apply for a diamonitirion (entry permit) through the Mount Athos Pilgrims' Bureau in Thessaloniki or the Greek Ministry well in advance-quota limits and Orthodox pilgrim priority apply.
• Most visitors arrive by boat from Ouranoupoli to the Athos shoreline; from the Athos harbor, the monastery may require a short local boat ride or walk. Respect liturgical schedules and dress codes (modest, dark clothing).
