How to Get to Obervellach#
Obervellach is reached via Klagenfurt or Villach, combining ÖBB trains to regional hubs with local buses into the Mölltal valley. Services are reliable on main routes but sparser for mountain villages.
Klagenfurt Airport (KLU): Klagenfurt provides the closest scheduled flights for Carinthia. From KLU take a short transfer to Klagenfurt Hauptbahnhof (about 10-15 minutes) and continue by regional rail or bus toward Obervellach and the Mölltal valley.
Graz Airport (GRZ): Graz can be used as an alternative for certain connections with a longer onward rail/bus journey into Carinthia.
