Ngapali Beach is a coastal resort area on Myanmar’s western coast in Rakhine State, facing the Bay of Bengal near the town of Thandwe. It is known for a long stretch of sandy shoreline, clear water and a series of low-rise resorts and fishing villages along the strip.
The beach offers swimming, snorkeling and boat excursions, and the beachfront is lined with resorts and restaurants that serve local seafood. Development has focused on tourism infrastructure while retaining a low-rise, small-scale character.

Ngapali lies on the Rakhine coast near Thandwe; the nearest town and airport are at Thandwe, which provides the principal access for visitors arriving by air.

Ngapali is reached by a short domestic flight from Yangon or Mandalay to Thandwe Airport (about 30-45 minutes), then a 15-30 minute transfer by road to the beach; some travelers use buses but flights are faster and more reliable.
