The site’s main attractions are the series of seven tiers, broad rocky cascades and deep pools used for swimming at the lower levels. Paths and wooden walkways link several viewing points, and the lower tier has the most developed picnic and bathing area. The falls are a regional day-trip destination and are busiest in the rainy season when flows are strongest.
The waterfall is a natural feature; the surrounding area was later incorporated into Khuean Srinagarindra National Park to protect the watershed and forest. Management focuses on visitor access, trail maintenance and preserving water quality.
The falls sit in forested hills of Si Sawat District in Kanchanaburi province, within the reservoir-watershed area managed by the national park. Parking and the park entrance are at the foot of the trail network that leads to the tiers.
