How to Get to Nadur
Nadur is on the island of Gozo and reached via Malta International Airport (MLA) plus the Gozo ferry to Mġarr. Expect a combined road+ferry journey of roughly 1.5-2 hours from the airport to Nadur.
Malta International Airport (MLA): Malta’s only international airport is at Luqa (MLA), about 35-40 minutes drive from Nadur on Gozo plus the ferry crossing. From MLA you can take a bus or taxi to Ċirkewwa ferry terminal (drive ~30-40 minutes), then the Gozo Channel ferry to Mġarr Harbour (Gozo).
(No airport on Gozo): Gozo has no commercial airport; all air arrivals use MLA on Malta and continue by road+ferry to Nadur.
Bus + Ferry: From MLA take the Malta public bus network to Ċirkewwa (bus routes change seasonally) - the bus journey to Ċirkewwa is about 40-60 minutes. The Gozo Channel ferry crosses to Mġarr (Gozo) in about 20-25 minutes and runs frequently; foot passenger fares are typically a few euros (check the Gozo Channel site for current fares). From Mġarr Harbour it’s a short bus or taxi ride to Nadur (10-15 minutes).
Taxi: Taxis and private transfers from MLA to Ċirkewwa or directly door‑to‑door to Nadur are available; total travel time (airport→ferry→Nadur) is usually around 1.5-2 hours including transfer time.
How to Get Around Nadur #
