How to Get to Mrémani
Mrémani (Mramani variant) is a local settlement on Anjouan; the closest air access is Ouani Airport (AJN) with onward travel by road. Movement on the island relies on shared taxis/minibuses and occasional private transfers rather than scheduled rail or coach networks.
Ouani Airport (AJN): Ouani is the primary airport on Anjouan; flights from Moroni or occasional regional flights arrive here. From Ouani to Mrémani the journey is by taxi or shared taxi and can take 20-60 minutes depending on exact location and road conditions. Expect low-cost shared fares (paid in KMF) and higher rates for private taxis.
Prince Said Ibrahim International (HAH): If arriving internationally you will usually land at Moroni (Grande Comore) and then connect to Anjouan by domestic flight or ferry; domestic flights land at Ouani on Anjouan for onward ground travel.
Train: There are no rail services in the Comoros.
Bus / Shared taxi (taxi-collectif): Road links use minibuses and shared taxis between main towns and villages.
