From Gothenburg (about 60-80 km southwest depending on start), drive northeast on the E20 then take regional roads toward Alingsås; Mjörn lies roughly 25-35 minutes east of Alingsås by car (follow local signs for lakes and recreational areas). There is limited public transport to villages near the lake-use regional buses to the nearest town and arrange a short taxi or bicycle trip for the last leg.
