Maragua is best reached by road from Nairobi - there are no direct rail services and limited air options. Matatus and private transfers are the standard ways to arrive and move around.

By Air

Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO): Nairobi’s main international gateway. From Nairobi you can reach Maragua by road - private transfer or bus from Nairobi’s Matatu terminals is the usual option; travel time is typically 1.5-3 hours depending on route and traffic.

Wilson Airport (WIL): Primarily domestic and charter flights; there are no direct scheduled flights to Maragua - Wilson is useful for small‑aircraft charters if available, but most travelers use road transport from Nairobi.

By Train & Bus

Train: There is no direct passenger railway serving Maragua. Kenya’s standard long‑distance passenger rail network (e.g., SGR to Mombasa) does not serve this inland town.
