Mafraq is best reached by road from Amman (Queen Alia Airport) by bus or shared taxi. Jordan's passenger rail network is limited, so buses and service taxis are the practical public transport options.
Queen Alia International Airport (AMM): The main international airport for Jordan is Queen Alia (near Amman). From AMM you can reach Mafraq by road (about 1-1.5 hours depending on traffic) using intercity buses, service taxis or private transfer.
Amman Civil Airport / Marka (ADJ): Marka Airport is closer to Amman city and can be used for some regional flights; onward travel to Mafraq is by road transport from Amman.
Train: There is no extensive passenger rail service connecting Mafraq to Amman in regular commuter fashion; rail freight and limited historical passenger services exist but are not the primary option.
