How to Get to Sabha
Sabha (Mafraq Governorate) is reached by road from Amman after flying into Queen Alia. There is no rail access. Travelers typically use intercity buses or private transfers for the longer leg and local shared taxis for the final miles into smaller communities.
Queen Alia International Airport (AMM): Amman’s Queen Alia is the main international gateway to Jordan and the starting point for journeys into Mafraq Governorate (where Sabha is located). Road travel from AMM to Mafraq region typically takes around 2.5-4 hours depending on traffic and route.
Marka / regional arrivals: Marka (Amman Civil) sees limited regional traffic; most international visitors use Queen Alia and continue by road to northern and eastern governorates.
Train: Jordan has no intercity passenger rail service; Sabha is not served by any rail line.
Bus: Intercity coaches and local shared taxis operate between Amman and Mafraq. From Mafraq town minibuses and service taxis provide connections to surrounding communities; these local legs are normally short and inexpensive but schedules are informal.
