How to Get to Le Port

Le Port is an industrial and harbour town on Réunion's northwest coast. Roland Garros airport (Saint-Denis) is the closest major air gateway; rental cars or taxis from the airport are the most convenient way to reach Le Port.

By Air

Roland Garros (RUN): Le Port on Réunion’s northwest coast is most easily reached via Roland Garros airport (Saint-Denis) - the drive from the airport to Le Port is roughly 20-40 minutes depending on traffic. Taxis and car rentals at the airport provide direct transfers; expect moderate fares for short transfers.

Pierrefonds (ZSE): Pierrefonds in the south is further away and less convenient for Le Port; most travellers use Roland Garros for north/west coast access and rent a car or take a taxi/shuttle for the short drive to Le Port.

By Train & Bus

Train: Réunion has no passenger rail service.

Bus: Regional bus services operate across the island and connect Le Port with Saint-Denis, Saint-Paul and other towns. Buses are inexpensive but can be slower than driving-check local timetables for the latest routes and times (Car Jaune and other operators).

How to Get Around Le Port #
