Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM), Kathmandu: Lahan does not have a commercial airport; most travellers fly into Kathmandu (KTM) or to smaller regional airports like Janakpur (JKR) depending on connections, then travel overland. From Janakpur the drive to Lahan is approximately 2-4 hours by road depending on route and vehicle.
Janakpur Airport (JKR): Janakpur offers limited domestic flights and is the closest airport with scheduled services; from Janakpur you can continue to Lahan by bus or private transfer in a few hours. Fares vary by vehicle and operator.
