Cooler weather arrives fast in November, with mornings and evenings that feel distinctly autumnal; days remain comfortable for exploring. The first light snow can fall on nearby ridges, but valley towns remain mostly snow-free and accessible. This is an excellent shoulder-season to experience local life without crowds; bring a warm jacket for nighttime and early-morning market visits.
