How to Get to Kvareli#
Kvareli in Kakheti is most easily reached from Tbilisi by marshrutka or private transfer. Public minibuses from Didube bus station are frequent and are the common, economical choice for travellers.
Tbilisi International Airport (TBS): Tbilisi is the main gateway for Kvareli and eastern Kakheti. From Tbilisi take a marshrutka or minivan from Didube Bus Station (or arrange a private transfer) toward Telavi/Kvareli - total driving time to Kvareli is around 2.5-3 hours depending on stops.
Kutaisi (KUT): Kutaisi is far from Kakheti and not recommended for reaching Kvareli due to long overland travel times.
Train: Georgian Railways has some regional services, but marshrutkas and buses are the most frequent and flexible options for Kakheti.
Bus / Marshrutka: From Tbilisi’s Didube bus station catch a marshrutka or minibus heading to Telavi and Kvareli; many services run daily and the journey via Telavi usually takes about 2.5-3 hours.
