Domestic flights to Kisoro are offered by charter and scheduled domestic carriers (e.g., Aerolink) to Kisoro Airstrip; flight time is about 45-60 minutes and one‑way fares commonly range from about USD 120-220 depending on season and operator.

Local airstrips (Kisoro Airstrip): Kisoro has a small airstrip used by light aircraft and scheduled domestic services catering to gorilla trekking visitors; transfers from the airstrip to town are short (10-20 minutes) by taxi or minivan.

Buses and minibuses depart Kampala and Mbarara bound for Kabale and Kisoro; total travel time is typically 8-10+ hours depending on route and stops, and fares commonly range UGX 25,000-60,000 (check current rates).

Road from Kabale: Many visitors transfer via Kabale (a 1-2 hour drive to Kisoro) where taxis and minibuses connect; road travel times and fares vary by operator.
