Khlong Nin Beach
Beach Scenic sandy beach on Koh Lanta
On Koh Lanta, Khlong Nin Beach offers a long sand strip with shallow swimming, small beachfront bungalows and seafood shacks; visitors come for relaxed beach days, sunsets and access to nearby dive trips.
Khlong Nin Beach is a long sandy shoreline on the west coast of Ko Lanta in Krabi province, facing the Andaman Sea. The beach offers a mix of low-rise resorts, bungalows and beach bars and is noted for its sunset views.
Sand is generally soft and the water has a gentle slope making it suitable for swimming at most tides. Snorkelling off the beach is limited by seasonal visibility and local reefs which are best explored by short boat trips.
The shoreline developed for tourism over recent decades but retains a more relaxed atmosphere compared with busier nearby islands. Facilities are concentrated along the beachfront and a single main road runs parallel to the sand.
Khlong Nin lies on the western side of Ko Lanta, a short drive south of the island’s main town of Saladan and serves as an easily reached beach base for visitors to the island.
