How to Get to Jáchymov#
Jáchymov is most easily reached via Karlovy Vary (regional airport and bus/train hub). From Karlovy Vary take a regional bus or taxi for the short onward trip; Prague remains the main international gateway if flying from farther afield.

Prague Václav Havel Airport (PRG): Prague is the main international gateway; driving or taking a train/coach from Prague to Jáchymov takes roughly 2.5-3.5 hours depending on route. Trains and buses run to Karlovy Vary and then onward connections to Jáchymov are by regional bus or taxi.
Train: The nearest major rail hub is Karlovy Vary (Karlovy Vary město / dolní nádraží) with connections from Prague and other Czech cities. From Karlovy Vary you take a regional bus or taxi to Jáchymov; direct trains to Jáchymov are not available.
