Klínovec is the highest mountain on the Czech side of the Ore Mountains (Krušné hory), reaching 1,244 meters above sea level. It is a prominent local summit and a regional center for outdoor recreation.
The peak supports a ski area with lifts, marked pistes and winter tourism infrastructure, and in summer it is used for hiking and mountain biking. The summit area includes observation points that afford broad views across the surrounding range and into neighboring Germany.

How to Get to Klínovec#
Klínovec (the highest peak of the Ore Mountains) is reached by road from towns in the Karlovy Vary Region. Drive toward the Boží Dar / Jáchymov area and follow local roads to the Klínovec ski resort parking areas; there are public buses from Karlovy Vary that serve Jáchymov/Boží Dar, and from Boží Dar the summit area is a short hike or reachable by the resort lifts.
