Goharshad Mosque

Goharshad Mosque is a Timurid-era congregational mosque located at the Imam Reza shrine complex in Mashhad, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran, commissioned in the early 15th century by Goharshad Begum. It is one of the principal monuments within the shrine precinct and is noted for its tilework and monumental iwan.

The mosque is known for its large vaulted iwan, tiled portal, minarets, and an interior prayer hall with extensive glazed tile mosaics and calligraphic decoration.
