How to Get to Dimona

Dimona is most easily reached via Ben Gurion Airport with a transfer at Be'er Sheva and then a regional Egged bus or sherut into the town. There is no direct rail link, so buses and shared taxis are the practical options for the last leg.

By Air

Ben Gurion Airport (TLV): Ben Gurion is the main international airport for Dimona. The common route is to travel from TLV to Be’er Sheva by train or bus (about 45-70 minutes) and then take an Egged bus or local bus to Dimona (another ~40-60 minutes); total journey time is roughly 2-2.5 hours. Expect combined fares in the region of ~40-80 ILS depending on connections and ticket types.

Eilat (OVS) / Ramon (ETM): For southern arrivals, Ramon Airport (near Eilat) is an option but ground travel to Dimona is lengthy (several hours) and not commonly used for one-way trips to Dimona.

By Train & Bus

Train: There is no direct passenger rail service to Dimona. The nearest rail hub is Be’er Sheva (Be’er Sheva North/Hashalom), with frequent services from Tel Aviv and central Israel.
