How to Get to Mitzpe Ramon

Mitzpe Ramon in the Negev is most often reached via Ben Gurion Airport with a train to Be'er Sheva and an Egged bus for the final leg, or via Ramon Airport with a bus transfer. Buses from Be'er Sheva are the most straightforward way to reach the town from the national rail network.

By Air

Ben Gurion Airport (TLV): Ben Gurion is Israel’s main international gateway. From TLV take the train to Be’er Sheva (about 45-60 minutes) then an Egged bus to Mitzpe Ramon (about 1.5-2 hours); combined travel time is roughly 2.5-3.5 hours. Train fares TLV→Be’er Sheva are typically ~25-40 ILS; the bus Be’er Sheva→Mitzpe Ramon is roughly 25-45 ILS.

Ramon Airport (ETM): Ramon (near Eilat) is the closer commercial airport to the southern Negev for some routes.
