Danilov Monastery is a Russian Orthodox monastery in Moscow, founded in the late 13th century by Prince Daniil of Moscow. It is one of the older monastic foundations in the city and occupies a site south of the Kremlin.

The complex includes church buildings, monastic living quarters and ancillary structures typical of an urban monastery. The site is an active religious community with regular services and liturgies rather than a museum complex.

The monastery was established by Prince Daniil in the late 1200s and served as a religious center for the principality of Moscow. It suffered closure and repurposing during Soviet rule in the 20th century and was later returned to the Russian Orthodox Church and restored as a functioning monastery.

The monastery sits within the city of Moscow, in the Danilovsky area, just south of the historical centre and the Kremlin. It is reached easily from central Moscow by public transport.
