How to Get to Chirpan#
Chirpan is best reached via Stara Zagora or Plovdiv by train or regional bus, with short onward transfers by local bus or taxi. The rail line through Stara Zagora is the main national connection for this part of Bulgaria.
Plovdiv Airport (PDV): Plovdiv is the closest airport to Chirpan (Stara Zagora Province), about 50-70 km away depending on route. From Plovdiv, taxis or private transfers to Chirpan take roughly 40-60 minutes and typically cost around BGN 40-80.
Bourgas (BOJ) / Sofia (SOF): Sofia or Burgas airports are significantly further; travellers coming from abroad usually fly to Sofia and continue by train or bus to Stara Zagora and then on to Chirpan by local bus or taxi.
