Exploring Cha Ong Waterfall#
Cha Ong is the largest of the waterfalls around Ban Lung, dropping some 20 metres. It is not ideal for swimming, but it is an impressive sight, and anyone wanting to cool off can walk close enough to stand under the shower of its cascade. The falls are less dramatic in the dry season, though the road to reach them is much easier to navigate at that time of year.
How to Get to Cha Ong Waterfall#
Reached by road from Siem Reap or Kampong Thom; allow 1-3 hours depending on starting point and road conditions. Local tour operators can arrange transport.
