The cape features high rocky headlands and a series of small beaches and coves with notably clear water, making it popular for swimming and snorkeling. Scenic viewpoints along the headland offer panoramic sea views and are often used for photography and sunset watching.

Regional buses connect Tropea with towns along the coast in summer; from Tropea the cape is a short drive or taxi ride and most viewpoints are reachable on foot from roadside parking.

• Plan to visit late afternoon for cooler temperatures and sunset views-the cliffs catch golden light and the sea views toward the Aeolian direction are best at dusk.
• Park in Ricadi or the small roadside car parks and use the short footpaths down to lookout points rather than trying to reach a single crowded beach; the main belvederes are a short walk from roadside parking.
• Book a morning or late-afternoon boat trip to access sea caves and quieter coves (Grotticelle area)-boats and snorkeling excursions are popular in summer and sell out, so reserve in advance.
