July is warm in the lowlands with cooler nights at elevation; mountaineering is doable but start early to avoid mid-day heat on scree slopes. Brava’s gardens are in bloom and provide shaded walking options. Transport connections to the islands increase with the tourist season, but also be prepared for occasional cancellations when Atlantic swell rises.
