How to Get to Bwambarangwe
Bujumbura (BJM) / Gitega / Nearby airfields: Burundi’s international air service is limited. The principal international gateway historically has been Bujumbura (BJM) though commercial operations vary; from there you must travel overland to Kirundo Province. Expect long road journeys - several hours depending on conditions - and limited scheduled domestic flights.
