How to Get to Bubanza
Bubanza is normally accessed by road from Bujumbura. There are no rail links; shared minibuses and private taxis are the usual transport modes within the province.
Bujumbura International Airport (BJM): Bubanza Province is reached from Burundi’s principal airport in Bujumbura. From there you continue by road; Bubanza does not receive scheduled commercial flights.
Regional/charter: Charters to local airstrips exist but are not a common way to travel to Bubanza.
Train: There is no passenger rail service in Bubanza.
