Cibitoke is accessed by road from Bujumbura and nearby towns. There are no passenger trains; minibuses and taxis are the normal options for travellers.
Bujumbura International Airport (BJM): Cibitoke Province is reached from Bujumbura by road after arrival at the country’s main airport. Cibitoke does not have regular scheduled commercial flights.
