How to Get to Bolinao
Bolinao in Pangasinan is reached overland from Metro Manila by provincial bus or private vehicle. There are no direct commercial flights to Bolinao-expect a multi-hour bus trip north from Manila with a local transfer at Alaminos or nearby.
Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL): Bolinao (Pangasinan) is typically reached from Manila by road rather than direct flights. From Manila’s airports you can take a bus north to Alaminos or directly to Bolinao; travel time by bus is roughly 5-6 hours depending on traffic.
San Fernando / Clark (CRK): Clark or other regional airports may be used for some itineraries but most visitors transfer from Manila by bus or private vehicle to reach Bolinao.
Train: There is no continuous passenger rail service connecting Manila to Pangasinan for tourist travel; buses are the main option.
Bus: Several provincial bus companies run from Manila terminals (e.g., Victory Liner, Five Star, Dagupan-bound services) to Alaminos or Lingayen; from Alaminos take a local jeepney or bus to Bolinao (additional 1-1.5 hours).
How to Get Around Bolinao #
Bolinao is a coastal municipality best explored by motorcycle, tricycle or hired car; many attractions (beaches, falls) are spread out along the coast. Walking works well inside small town centres, but distances to beaches and lighthouse areas usually require transport. Local jeepneys or buses provide limited connections to neighbouring towns; tourists commonly rent motorbikes or hire drivers for day trips.
