How to Get to Be'eri

Be'eri is in the southern Negev region near Sderot; reach the general area via Ben Gurion Airport then by train or bus to Ashkelon/Sderot and a taxi or local bus for the final stretch. Public transport to individual kibbutzim can be limited, so confirm schedules or arrange transfers in advance.

By Air

Ben Gurion Airport (TLV): Ben Gurion is Israel’s primary international airport. From TLV take Israel Railways or bus into Tel Aviv and then onward trains or buses toward Ashkelon/Sderot; total travel time to the Be’eri area is commonly 1.5-2.5 hours depending on connections. Taxis from TLV to southern Negev towns are available but will be significantly more expensive than public transport.

Ramon Airport (ETM): Ramon (near Eilat) is a secondary international airport in southern Israel; ground transfer from Ramon to Be’eri is long (several hours) and not practical for most travellers.

By Train & Bus

Train: Israel Railways serves major hubs such as Tel Aviv and Ashkelon; the nearest useful rail station for the Be’eri area is Ashkelon. From Ashkelon you must continue by bus or taxi to reach the smaller southern communities.

Bus: Egged and regional bus services operate routes from Ashkelon and Sderot toward rural southern communities. For many kibbutzim and smaller settlements, direct scheduled public transport may be limited-plan to use a taxi or arrange pickup for the final leg.
