Bangkok has a workspace for every kind of day: social coworking spaces with events, corporate floors with phone booths for back-to-back calls, a free 24-hour study hall, a design library, and hundreds of cafes. The spaces below are ones we have checked are open, with prices as published or recently reported. Prices change, so confirm before you sign up for a month.
How to Choose a Space#
- Location beats everything. Pick a space within one or two stations of where you live. A great space an hour away in traffic will not get used.
- Take day passes first. Try two or three spaces for a day each before buying a month.
- Check your hours. Many spaces only staff reception and sell day passes on weekdays from 9 to 6. If you work US hours, look for 24/7 member access (The Work Loft, JustCo) or the free Samyan CO-OP.
- Ask about phone booths if you take a lot of calls, and test the Wi-Fi with your real video-call app.
- Use your condo. Many condo buildings have a free co-working lounge. Combined with a few cafe days, it is enough for a lot of people.
Quick picks: for community, The Hive Thonglor; for value, The Work Loft; for US hours on no budget, Samyan CO-OP; for a day with a view, Paper Plane Project.

Coworking Spaces#
The Hive Thonglor
A converted multi-storey building in a quiet soi off Sukhumvit 49, with a rooftop cafe and one of the most social member communities in the city. Lots of freelancers, founders and long-stay nomads; regular talks, lunches and parties make it an easy place to meet people in your first week.
Best for: Meeting other nomads
Thai and English price pages differ slightly; free "Try Out Tuesday" drop-in days run some weeks.
Map Checked Oct 2026WeWork T-One Building
Polished, corporate-friendly floors in a tower linked straight to Thong Lo BTS by skywalk. Fast, reliable internet and plenty of phone booths make it a safe bet if your days are full of calls. An All Access membership also works at WeWork’s two other Bangkok buildings and abroad.
Best for: Call-heavy days and global memberships
WeWork Spring Tower
WeWork’s biggest Bangkok floors, two stops from Siam on the BTS. Handy if you live around Ari, Victory Monument or Phaya Thai and want a professional space without crossing the city.
Best for: Ari and Phaya Thai residents
WeWork The Parq
A green, low-key office building beside Benjakitti Forest Park, connected to the MRT. Good for Asok and Khlong Toei residents, and a run or walk in the park makes a decent lunch break.
Best for: Asok residents who like a park at lunchtime
JustCo Samyan Mitrtown
Four high floors of coworking in the office tower above the Samyan Mitrtown mall, between Silom and Siam. The mall below has a 24-hour food court and supermarket, which matters more than you’d think when you are on a late call with a US client.
Best for: Central location between Silom and Siam
Day passes are sold through booking apps (third-party listings show about ฿750); memberships quoted on request.
Map Checked Oct 2026The Work Loft
A friendly, mid-sized space right beside Sala Daeng station, with day, week and month passes and 24/7 member access. One of the best-value monthly memberships in central Bangkok, and Lumphini Park is a five-minute walk away.
Best for: Best-value monthly desk in the centre
Industrious Gaysorn Tower
Bangkok’s most polished coworking, two hotel-like floors high above Ratchaprasong with 360-degree views, linked to Chit Lom BTS. It traded as The Great Room until it was rebranded Industrious in July 2026. Expensive by Bangkok standards and closed at weekends, but a good place to meet a client or treat yourself to a focused day.
Best for: Client meetings and premium focus days
TCDC Resource Center
The Thailand Creative and Design Center fills the 1940s Grand Postal Building with a design library, a silent study floor and a coworking floor. Cheap, quiet and beautiful, and the Charoen Krung cafes and galleries are right outside.
Best for: Cheap, quiet focus near the river
Annual membership ฿1,200.
Map Checked Oct 2026C asean Samyan CO-OP
A free, 24-hour co-learning space run with Kasikornbank inside Samyan Mitrtown. It is mostly Chulalongkorn students, so it is busy at exam time and you register through an app, but for a night shift on a US time zone nothing else in Bangkok beats free and open all night.
Best for: Free late-night work
Laptop-Friendly Cafes#
Bangkok’s cafe scene is huge, but many of the best cafes are small, get packed at weekends and have few sockets. Weekday mornings are the sweet spot. Ari, Thonglor and Ekkamai, and the Charoen Krung riverside have the most laptop-friendly options; malls are the safe fallback on rainy afternoons, with air-conditioning, outlets and food courts.
Paper Plane Project
A cafe-coworking hybrid on the 40th floor of the same tower as WeWork T-One, with proper desks, sockets and floor-to-ceiling views over Sukhumvit. Order something every few hours and you can stay all day; it turns into a bar in the evening.
Best for: A full day's work with a view
Kaizen Coffee Co.
A glass-walled, two-storey specialty cafe at the top of Ekkamai Road. Weekday mornings upstairs are a good work session; weekends are packed with brunch crowds.
Best for: Weekday morning sessions
Aribica
A small specialty coffee bar tucked down an alley in Ari, roasting beans from Chiang Mai to Costa Rica. Calm, low music and friendly to laptops, which makes it a favourite with Ari’s freelancers.
Best for: Calm mornings in Ari
Sarnies Bangkok
Singapore’s Sarnies in a 150-year-old former boat-repair shophouse near the river. The upstairs room is calmer and better for working than the busy ground floor.
Best for: Brunch and a few hours of work near the river
Rocket Coffeebar Sathorn
A Scandinavian-style cafe on Sathorn Soi 12 that has been a Sathorn institution for over a decade. Good for an early start or a working breakfast before the office crowd arrives.
Best for: Early starts in Sathorn
Open House at Central Embassy
A huge double-height floor at the top of Central Embassy mall with a bookshop, cafes, restaurants and long shared tables. Air-conditioned, bright and roomy, a good rainy-day option in the middle of the city.
Best for: Rainy days in the centre
Cafe Etiquette in Bangkok#
- Order regularly. A drink every couple of hours, or food at lunch, is the fair rate for a table.
- Don’t take a four-top alone at lunch in a small cafe. Move to the bar or a two-seat table at busy times.
- Use headphones for calls, or step outside. Loud calls are the fastest way to wear out your welcome.
- Ask before plugging in if the socket is behind the counter or in a staff area.
- Some cafes limit laptops at weekends. Look for signs at the door.
Working US or European Hours from Bangkok#
Bangkok is UTC+7 with no daylight saving. London is 6 hours behind in summer and 7 in winter, so a European working day fits Bangkok’s afternoon and evening nicely. New York is 11 hours behind in summer and 12 in winter, so US meetings fall between 8 pm and 2 am.
If you work late, three things help: a membership with 24/7 access (or Samyan CO-OP, free and open all night), a condo with a quiet desk and good air-conditioning, and dinner plans before the evening calls start. The 24-hour food court at Samyan Mitrtown and 7-Elevens on every corner mean you are never stuck for food at 2 am.
