Ba Kantiang Beach is a coastal beach on the southern side of Koh Lanta island in southern Thailand. The beach forms a curved bay with sand frontage and nearshore coral reef.
The shoreline is popular for swimming, snorkeling and beachside accommodation rather than for long-distance coastal travel. The reef close to shore provides snorkeling opportunities when water and weather conditions permit.
The beach sits on Koh Lanta island and is accessed by the island’s road network and via ferry connections to the mainland; the island’s main settlement and ferry point are on the northern end of Koh Lanta.

How to Get to Ba Kantiang Beach #
From Krabi town or Klong Dao pier, take a ferry or speedboat to Saladan Pier on Koh Lanta, then a taxi or scooter south along Route 4245 to Ba Kantiang (approx. 45-60 minutes from Saladan). From Koh Lanta’s southern tip within Mu Ko Lanta National Park follow local signs to the bay.
