How to Get to Aparri
Aparri (Cagayan) is best reached by road from regional airports such as Tuguegarao (TUG) or by intercity bus from other Cagayan towns. There is no passenger rail service in the immediate area.
Tuguegarao Airport (TUG): Tuguegarao is the closest airport with scheduled commercial flights for northern Cagayan province. From Tuguegarao you can catch a local bus or van service to Aparri; journey times are typically around 2-3 hours depending on route and stops, with fares roughly 150-400 PHP.
Laoag International Airport (LAO): Laoag is another northern option though farther west; from Laoag you would travel by road across Ilocos and Cagayan provinces to reach Aparri, which takes several hours and usually requires an intercity bus connection. Expect intercity bus fares in the low hundreds of PHP.
Train: There is no passenger railway service to Aparri; the Philippine National Railways does not serve this part of Luzon.
