From Batumi you can take a taxi (about 120-180 GEL) or a shared marshrutka/minibus from Batumi bus station (prices commonly 10-20 GEL) - travel times ~2-2.5 hours depending on stops.
Kutaisi International Airport (KUT): Kutaisi is further (roughly 3-3.5 hours by road). From Kutaisi you can take a taxi (≈150-220 GEL) or change at Kutaisi coach station for a long‑distance marshrutka to Akhaltsikhe (typical fares 15-30 GEL); travel time about 3-4 hours.
Bus / Marshrutka: Akhaltsikhe is best reached by intercity marshrutka (minibus) from major Georgian cities. Regular minibuses depart Tbilisi and Batumi; Tbilisi → Akhaltsikhe takes roughly 3-4 hours with fares commonly 10-25 GEL. Arrivals use Akhaltsikhe bus station in town.
