The Zuojiang Huashan Rock Art cultural landscape comprises cliff paintings along the Zuojiang River in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, southern China. The site is internationally recognised for its concentration of prehistoric rock art on limestone cliff faces.
Large painted panels show stylised human figures, animals and geometric motifs arranged on vertical rock faces; many panels cluster along stretches of river-facing cliffs. Boat or riverside access is commonly used to approach key panels and the paintings are most visible when water levels are lower.
The paintings were produced in prehistory by communities living in the Zuojiang valley over an extended period and are considered evidence of long-term ritual and social practices in the region. Archaeologists link the artworks to Bronze Age and later prehistoric cultures in southern China.
The rock art is distributed along the Zuojiang River corridor in Guangxi, on cliffs that face the river and its tributaries. The paintings occur at multiple locations along the riverine landscape in southern Guangxi.

- Viewing access: Many of the painted panels are located on limestone cliffs above the Zuojiang River and are most easily viewed by boat or from riverbanks at low water levels.

- Hire a local guide or join a ranger-led visit-many rock-art panels sit off the main tourist path and guides know the best, less-visited panels and the correct viewing angles for photography.
- Go in the morning for steadier light on the cliffs and to avoid the stronger afternoon sun and local boat-traffic crowds at the main sites.
