A national park in Bolu Province, Turkey, noted for a group of small lakes set inside a forested mountain landscape; its Turkish name means “Seven Lakes.”

A compact network of lakes and forest trails used for day hiking, picnicking and nature photography, especially during autumn when deciduous forests change color. Facilities include marked paths and basic camping areas that serve local and regional visitors.

The area has been recognized and managed for its natural values since the mid-20th century, with conservation focused on protecting the lakes, surrounding woodland and recreational use.

Located in the forested slopes of Bolu Province in northwestern Turkey, reachable from the regional towns of Bolu and Mudurnu by mountain roads; the park sits in a hilly, heavily wooded landscape.

How to Get to Yedigöller National Park #

Yedigöller National Park is in Bolu Province and is normally reached by road from the city of Bolu; the drive from Bolu to the park takes under an hour and is on regional mountain roads (roughly 40-50 km depending on the exact park entrance used). There is no rail direct to the park-most visitors arrive by car or organized bus/tour from Bolu or nearby cities, and final access is by paved and forest roads with short walks inside the park.
