Yas Island is a purpose-built island connected to the Abu Dhabi mainland by road. By car or taxi it’s a direct drive from Abu Dhabi city centre and from Abu Dhabi International Airport (tens of minutes depending on traffic); the island is served by highways linking it to the city. Major attractions such as Yas Marina Circuit, Yas Mall and Yas Waterworld are signposted and reachable by car, taxi or organized shuttle services from Abu Dhabi.

- Visit Yas Island attractions right at opening on weekdays; theme parks and Ferrari World run timed-entry and morning arrivals let you hit signature rides with shorter queues.
- Use the Yas Express shuttle from central Abu Dhabi or the dedicated Yas Island road access (signposted off Sheikh Zayed Road); there is extensive free parking and good public-transport links to avoid driving around the island.
- Don't skip the Yas Marina waterfront in the evening-walking the boardwalk around the marina and Yas Bay offers a much quieter experience than the parks and good sunset views.
