Yandang Mountains are best reached from Wenzhou or Yueqing by bus or car. From Wenzhou South Railway Station, regular buses and tourist shuttles run to the scenic area (about 1.5-2 hours). Private transfers and local tour operators in Wenzhou and Yueqing provide day tours and overnight options.
Tips for Visiting Yandang Mountains #
- Spend at least one night in a nearby town-Dayu or Yongjia area-to catch sunrise over the peaks.
- Take the cable car to access higher viewpoints quickly, then hike back down through the stone steps and bamboo groves.
- Bring a windproof layer; summit ridges can be unexpectedly chilly and windy, even in summer.
