Hengdian World Studios is a large film studio complex and tourist site in Dongyang, Zhejiang Province, China, known for extensive full-scale historical sets and production facilities. It serves as both an active film production base and a themed destination for visitors.

The complex contains replicated palace compounds, streets and historical architectures used for film and television shoots, along with backlot stages, workshops and visitor attractions. Guided tours and live filming events are part of the visitor experience.

Established in the 1990s as a purpose-built production and set complex, it expanded rapidly to host large-scale historical productions and commercial tourism. The site functions both as an active studio and as a park showcasing film-making sets.

Hengdian World Studios is located in Dongyang, central Zhejiang Province, roughly two to three hours’ drive southwest of Shanghai by road and within Zhejiang’s inland lowland and river-dominated landscape.
