Xinfengjiang Reservoir is a large impoundment on the Xinfeng River in Guangdong province, China. The reservoir was created by construction of a dam on the river and serves multiple utilitarian roles including water storage and hydroelectric power.
The lake created by the dam is used for local recreation and fisheries in addition to its primary water-management functions. Shoreline areas are developed for towns and transport links that connect the reservoir to surrounding counties.
