From Guangzhou city center, take Metro Line 2 to Baiyun Park Station or Line 3 to Jianggao and transfer to local bus routes (for example, Bus 202 or 609) that stop near the Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area entrance. Taxis and ride-hailing services are common; the drive from Guangzhou North Railway Station takes about 20-40 minutes depending on traffic. Shuttle buses run from several metro stations to the main park entrances on busy weekends.

- Use the Yuntai or Feilai cable car early in the morning to avoid long queues.
- Take Line 2 (Jiahewanggang) or Line 3 of Guangzhou Metro and transfer to local buses 202/609 to the Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area entrance for the cheapest route.
- Climb to the Ming Tombs area for sunrise - the light on the granite outcrops is unexpectedly cinematic.
