Westminster Cathedral

Westminster Cathedral is the mother church of the Roman Catholic community in England and Wales, located in central London near Victoria. Designed by John Francis Bentley in a Byzantine-Revival style, the cathedral is noted for its striped red-brick exterior and richly veneered interior.

The building was constructed around the turn of the 20th century and serves as both a place of worship and a center for Catholic ceremonies and music. The interior contains extensive marble work, mosaics and a prominent high altar used for liturgical functions.
