About Wells Fargo Plaza#

Wells Fargo Plaza is a high-rise office skyscraper in downtown Houston, Texas, and is one of the city’s principal commercial towers. It was developed as a Class A office building and hosts corporate and financial tenants.

The building houses multi-tenant office floors with a ground-level lobby and street-facing retail in the downtown grid. It contributes to Houston’s skyline as a prominent downtown tower.

Constructed in the early 1980s during a period of high-rise development in Houston, the tower has served as office space for national and local firms and banks. Its use has remained primarily commercial since completion.

The tower stands in Houston’s central business district, within the downtown cluster of skyscrapers and close to major city streets and transit routes.

Status: One of downtown Houston’s major office towers and among the tallest buildings in the city.
