Wat Suan Dok is a Buddhist temple in Chiang Mai founded in 1370 by King Kuena as a royal temple and garden. It is notable for its broad open campus, large central chedi and a terrace of whitewashed funerary chedis associated with the Chiang Mai royal family.
The temple complex contains an active ordination hall and a viharn used for worship, plus a field of approximately 20 whitewashed chedis that store the remains of Lanna royalty and nobles. The spacious grounds and clear sightlines make the chedis a distinctive visual feature of the site.
