How to Get to Vrchlabí#
Vrchlabí is the gateway to the Krkonoše (Giant Mountains) and is reached by regional trains and buses from Hradec Králové, Trutnov and Prague. For most visitors, rail to the regional hub then a bus or local train is the simplest route.
Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG): Prague is the primary international airport for the Hradec Králové Region. From PRG take a train or bus to Hradec Králové and then regional services to Trutnov / Vrchlabí area; total travel to Vrchlabí from Prague is typically 2-3 hours depending on connections (Airport Express + regional train/bus; prices CZK 60-400 combined).
Pardubice Airport (PED) / Regional airports: Pardubice is a smaller airport closer to Hradec Králové and can be used seasonally or for charter services; onward travel is by rail or bus to Hradec Králové and then regional connections to Vrchlabí.
