How to Get to Špindlerův Mlýn#
Špindlerův Mlýn is best reached from Prague by direct seasonal coaches or by train to nearby towns (Vrchlabí/Trutnov) and a bus/taxi up into the mountains. Coaches are common in winter and summer for tourist traffic.
Prague Václav Havel Airport (PRG): The main international gateway for visitors to Špindlerův Mlýn. From Prague take an intercity bus (or a combination of train+bus) to Špindlerův Mlýn - journey time ~2.5-3.5 hours depending on service; fares commonly CZK 200-400.
Pardubice Airport (PDE) / Ostrava (regional): Pardubice is closer but has limited scheduled services. Most international travellers use Prague and continue by road or coach to the Krkonoše Mountains.
Train: There is no direct train into Špindlerův Mlýn; the nearest railheads are Vrchlabí or Trutnov. From those towns take a bus or taxi for the ~30-60 minute mountain road up to Špindlerův Mlýn.
