Victory Park

Victory Park (Park Pobedy) is a large memorial park and museum complex on Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow dedicated to the Soviet victory in World War II. The site combines museum exhibitions with outdoor monuments and landscaped public space.

The complex includes a large museum with permanent exhibitions about the wartime period alongside wide memorial avenues, sculptural groupings, and a central memorial area. The outdoor zone contains formal walkways, fountains, and sculptural monuments that form a significant commemorative landscape.

The park and its museum complex were developed in the post-Soviet period to consolidate wartime memorials and create a national commemorative site; the principal museum building opened in the 1990s. The memorials on Poklonnaya Hill reflect 20th-century Soviet and Russian commemorative practices and have been the focus of national ceremonies.

Located on Poklonnaya Hill in the western part of central Moscow, the park sits along major arterial roads near Kutuzovsky Prospekt and is accessible from central Moscow by transit.
